Delete a website or account

What deletion removes, what to do first, and the difference between unpublishing and deleting.

Deletion is permanent. If you only want your site offline for a while, unpublish it instead.

Before you delete

  1. Export your site from Website → Backups if you might want the content later. See Backups, export and import.
  2. Finish active bookings. Complete or cancel upcoming appointments and wait for pending calendar changes to finish. Deletion is blocked while active bookings remain. For account deletion, this applies to every website you own.
  3. Download invoices you need from Plan & billing → Payment method & invoices.
  4. If you have a custom domain, note that its DNS records at your provider are not touched. Remove them there if you no longer want them.

Website exports do not include booking history, Google credentials or private booking management tokens. Contact support if you need help accessing booking data before deleting it. Turning off the booking page or unpublishing your site stops new bookings but does not cancel existing appointments.

Delete a website

  1. Open Website → Settings and scroll to Danger zone.
  2. Click Delete website and confirm.

This cancels the website’s subscription, releases its address and custom domains, and removes its content, images, subscribers, analytics, exports, backups and booking history. The shared Google Calendar connection remains available to your other websites.

If subscription cancellation cannot be confirmed, the website stays in place and you can try again.

Delete your account

  1. Open Account from the menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. In Danger zone, click Delete account and enter your password.

Every website you own is deleted first, as above, then your Mezaic account is removed. Private plans made for your account and the stored Google Calendar connection are removed too. Calendar events and emails already delivered remain with Google and their recipients. Removing the stored connection does not revoke Google’s permission grant; you can also remove access in Google Account connections.
