Skills

Grouped lists of skills and tools, shown on the About tab and emitted as what you know about.

Skills are groups of short tags (“Engineering: Go, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes”) displayed on the About tab and included as knowsAbout in your structured data.

Add a group

  1. Open Content → Skills and click Add.
  2. Enter a group name (Engineering, Design, Languages, …).
  3. Type each skill and press Enter. Up to 30 per group, 40 characters each; duplicates are removed.
  4. Save.

Tips

  • Three to five groups with five to ten items each read well; a wall of forty tags does not.
  • Order groups by what you want to be found for; the first group is what a skimming visitor sees.
