Plans and what's included

How plans work, what is limited versus switched on or off, and how to read the plan cards.

Every website is on a plan. The Free plan is the default and is enough to build a complete page; paid plans raise limits and switch on extra tools. Plans apply per website, so each of your sites can be on a different one.

Your personal profile and up to 12 social accounts are included on every plan, including Free. Social accounts do not use your additional Links allowance. The Free plan publishes on your Mezaic address with a Mezaic badge; connecting your own domain or removing the badge requires a plan that includes those features.

The current plans and prices are on the pricing page and, with your usage, under Plan & billing, near the bottom of the sidebar above your account menu. The exact limits of each plan are listed in Plan limits, generated from the live plans.

Limits and features

A plan has two kinds of entitlements:

  • Limits: how many links, blog posts, content items and subscribers you can have, how much image storage you can use and how far back analytics go. Limits are enforced when you create something: at the limit, the portal says so and offers to upgrade. Nothing you already have is ever deleted for being over a limit.
  • Features: tools that are either included or not: custom domains, white label (no “Powered by Mezaic” badge on your site and no attribution on your CV PDF), blog teams, blog, updates, journeys, spotlights, testimonials, appearance, daily backups, weekly repository-star refresh, sharing company profiles with other Mezaic sites (linking to a shared company is available on every plan) and Mezaic Persona, the AI chat, which comes with a monthly allowance shown as an approximate number of chats.

The Pro badge

In the portal, a tool your plan does not include shows a small crown Pro badge in the sidebar and in the feature picker. Its page opens and shows a See plans notice; you can look around and read, but saving is refused until the plan includes it. Any content you already created there is kept.

On the public site, a feature that is not included is simply not shown. A spotlight or Journeys tab disappears without deleting anything, and comes back the moment you upgrade.

Reading a plan card

Each card on the pricing page and on Billing shows:

  1. the price and, for paid plans, monthly or yearly billing (yearly shows the months you save);
  2. key numbers (links, content items, posts, image storage, analytics history and subscribers) with an arrow where the number is higher than the tier below;
  3. “Everything in previous plan, plus”: only what changes compared with the cheaper plan;
  4. All features: expand to see the full matrix, identical across cards, so you can compare row by row.

“Made for you” plans

Occasionally Mezaic creates a plan for one account, such as a partner or complimentary arrangement. It appears on Billing as Made for you, never on the public pricing page, and can be used on any website you own.

Blog team seats

When Blog team is included, the collaborator allowance counts accepted members and unexpired invitations; the website owner does not use a seat. Collaborators use the blog’s plan and storage allowance. If team access is disabled or the accepted team exceeds a reduced limit, collaborator access pauses while the owner keeps control. Posts and author credit stay intact.

Persona on external websites

Look for Persona on external websites in the plan’s feature list. It is separate from the base Persona feature and requires Persona’s input/output chat allowances. One eligible Mezaic website can supply the same Persona to up to ten approved HTTPS origins; www and other subdomains each count separately.

Your Mezaic site and its external embeds share the content, notes, monthly allowance, feedback and transcripts. You do not buy a separate Mezaic website or Persona subscription for each approved origin. Keep the source Mezaic site published and enable its Persona; the external hosts must support scripts and frames. See setup and compatibility.

If the feature is removed from a plan, external chat pauses and the saved domains are kept. Administrators can enable Persona on external websites in each plan, alongside Persona and its chat allowances.
