Switching from About.me or LinkedIn

Rebuild a profile page in a few minutes with structured résumé sections that search engines understand.

About.me and LinkedIn do not offer an export Mezaic can read, but a profile is quick to rebuild, and each section you fill in becomes structured data that Google can show as rich results.

1. Profile & bio

Open Your page → Profile and fill in your name, headline (the one-liner under your name), location, pronouns, a photo and your bio. Add the social accounts you want linked. See Profile and bio.

2. Work experience and education

Under Content, add each role and degree. Dates use month and year selects with an ongoing toggle for current positions, so nothing is free text that a search engine cannot read.

  • Link each role to a company profile if you want a page per employer with your history there (see Companies), or simply type the company name and website.
  • Keep summaries short; two or three sentences on impact beat a paragraph of duties.
