Switching from About.me or LinkedIn

Create a simple personal page with your photo, bio and social accounts, with room to add work or writing later.

If you want one address that introduces you and links to your personal and professional accounts, a Personal Mezaic website does that on the Free plan. Your photo, bio and social accounts can be the whole page.

Mezaic does not have an About.me or LinkedIn profile importer. Copy your profile text and social addresses into your new page; your existing profiles stay untouched.

1. Start with Personal

Create a website and keep Personal, the default option. Leave Show writing and portfolio tools off for a short sidebar. For an existing site, choose the Personal page preset under Website → Features. This changes the portal tools without deleting anything or changing published content.

2. Add your profile and social accounts

Open Your page → Profile & bio. Enter your public name, a headline and a bio, and add a photo if you want one. Link the accounts you want visitors to find: LinkedIn, GitHub, Facebook, Instagram, X and more. Use Custom for another network.

You can add up to 12 social accounts on every plan, including Free. They do not use your separate Links allowance. See Profile and social accounts.

3. Choose a look and share your page

Under Your page → Appearance, choose colours, fonts and an optional cover image. Preview your site and share its address when you are ready. A page with only your profile and social accounts is complete; publishing posts or filling résumé sections is optional.

New sites are published by default. Unpublish while you work if you want to prepare privately.

The Free plan hosts your page on your Mezaic address with a Mezaic badge. Custom domains and badge removal require a plan that includes them. See current plans and prices.

Add more when you need it

  • More links: add websites, projects or other destinations in Links.
  • Contact: new Personal sites start without a contact button. Enable the contact form if you want visitors to write to you while your email stays private.
  • A résumé: select Portfolio & résumé in Features, then add work experience, education and skills. A PDF CV can be generated from your profile.
  • Writing: enable Blog in Features to publish articles, with code highlighting and RSS. Email subscriptions are optional.

Point people to your page

Add your Mezaic address to your social profiles, LinkedIn contact information and email signature. If you use a domain you own, connect it on an eligible plan.
