Repositories with stars, forks, language and licence, filled in from GitHub or GitLab and kept up to date weekly.

Open-source entries show a repository card with the host mark, owner/name, stars, forks, a language swatch and the licence.

Add a repository

  1. Open Content → Open source and click Add.
  2. Paste the repository URL (github.com/owner/name or a GitLab project). It is required.
  3. Click Fetch from GitHub/GitLab. Mezaic reads the public repository and fills in stars, forks, primary language, licence and description. This works on every plan.
  4. Adjust anything you like (you can always type the star count by hand) and save.

Private repositories cannot be fetched; enter their details manually.

Keep stars up to date

Turn on Keep stars up to date to have Mezaic refresh stars and forks about once a week. Name, description, language and licence are only filled where you left them blank, so your edits are kept.

This refresh is a plan feature. On a plan without it the toggle is off and the editor shows the real state; manual fetching still works.

Tips

  • Lead with the repository that best represents your work today, even if it has fewer stars.
  • Use the description field to say what the project is for, not what it is. “CLI that makes Postgres backups boring” beats “Go tool”.
