Profile and bio
Your name, headline, photo, location, pronouns, social accounts and availability badge.
The profile is the header of every page on your site and the source of the search-engine “Person” markup, so it is worth doing well. Edit it under Your page → Profile.
Fields
| Field | Shown | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Full name | Top of every page, browser title, search results | Required. |
| Headline | Under your name | One line: what you do or who you help. Feeds the meta description when no SEO override is set. |
| Location | Next to your name | City and country. Kept as text and also emitted as your home location in structured data. |
| Pronouns | Next to your name | Optional. |
| Bio | About tab and home | A few short paragraphs. The first line is the default description search engines see. |
| Profile photo | Header, share cards, vCard | JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, 1 KB to 5 MB. The shape (round, squircle, square) is set in Appearance. |
| Show availability badge | Header | Displays “Available for select engagements”. |
Social accounts
Add up to 12 accounts. Pick the network from the list and paste the profile URL or just your username. Mezaic expands yourname to the right profile address and checks the link lives on that network’s domain. Choose Custom for a network that is not listed and give it a name.
Social accounts render as icons in the header, appear in your vCard and are listed as sameAs in structured data, which helps search engines connect your profiles.
Tip
Since links and social accounts overlap, the Links hub also recognises social URLs and shows the right brand icon. Use the profile for the handful of accounts that define you, and Links for everything else.
Contact button
The Contact button in the header comes from Settings → Contact email. Leave it empty to hide the button, or turn on the contact form so visitors write to you without seeing your address. See Contact form, vCard and inbox.
Tips
- Write the headline for a stranger: “Designer helping fintechs ship faster” beats “Senior Product Designer II”.
- Use a square photo with your face filling most of the frame; it is shown small in many places.
- Companies you link to in Work experience also show up on the About tab.
